Getting Started with Luma
You can go from zero to seeing your full trading history in about 30 seconds. Here is how.
Before you start
All you need is a crypto wallet with some trading history on any supported chain.
Supported wallets
MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and 200+ others via WalletConnect.
Supported chains
Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana.
If you have swapped tokens on any of these chains, Luma will find your trades.
Connect your wallet
Head to withluma.app and click “Connect Wallet.”
Pick your wallet (EVM or Solana) and approve the connection. Luma uses read-only access — it can see your transaction history but cannot move funds, approve transactions, or interact with your wallet in any way.
That is it. You are in.
Luma scans your history
Once connected, Luma automatically scans your on-chain trading history and:
- •Detects every swap and trade across all supported chains
- •Calculates your P&L for each position (entry, exit, fees, net result)
- •Builds your portfolio view with current holdings and real-time prices
- •Identifies trading patterns that feed into your AI coaching
This happens in seconds for most wallets. If you have a long history, it may take a minute or two.
You do not need to enter anything manually. Luma reads the blockchain directly.

Quick tips to build your edge faster
Journal every trade. Even one sentence about why you entered is more valuable than nothing. The AI coaching gets dramatically better when it has your reasoning, not just the numbers.
Set your strategy rules early. Even if they are simple ("I only trade with a plan," "I never revenge trade"), giving Luma rules to check against is what makes the daily coaching actually useful.
Check your Daily Coaching every morning. It takes two minutes to read. It is the single highest-ROI habit you can build as a trader.
Watch your Luma Score trend, not the number. A score of 65 that is climbing from 40 is better than a score of 80 that is flat. The trajectory is what matters.
